readers are exempted from the reader’s card for reading the literature, while the reader’s card is required for the borrowing of the literature. readers aged 13 and above can apply for the reader’s card and enjoy corresponding borrowing service according to the level of the reader’s card.

* the reading of ancient books, publications in the minguo period, local literature in stock is only available for readers with medium level or above titles. the reading of the rare ancient books is only available for readers with introduction letter.
* the reading of literature from taiwan, hong kong and macao is only available for readers with introduction letter with reading domain stated
senior citizens aged 60 and above, officers, the disabled and teenagers can apply for the preferential function of the “all-purpose card” with valid id cards.
